Star Worker

Julia Seal

Star Worker gets to sit on a chair at carpet time.
Star Worker is always at the front of every line.
Star Worker rings the bell for lunch
And Star Worker is the first to go home.

Everyone wants to be Star Worker
And everyone wants to be Star Workers friend.

To become Star Worker you have to have
done something AMAZING!

It doesn’t seem to matter what the little girl does, someone else
always does one better and she never gets to be Star Worker.

That is until a new little boy from Syria joins her class, and is sad because he misses his family. Without even realising it, the little girls concern and kindness win her the Star Worker badge… And a wonderful new friend!
