Bao the Little Giant Panda

Anita Barghigiani

This morning, the forest is quiet. The sunlight breaks gently through the tall bamboo. Bao lays in his mother’s arms and stretches, as he wakes up. Bao is a little giant panda living in Sichuan, China, which is known as the land of the four rivers. As he heads out into the forest in search of food, a storm rolls in and Bao is afraid. As he hides in his mother’s arms, she teaches him why he needn’t be afraid of nature, and he learns to face his fears.

  • A sweet story with a gentle lesson for little ones to learn.
  • Beautiful, atmospheric illustrations.
