The Last Bit of Toothpaste

Lucy Barnard

It was bedtime and Mummy said Oliver could have a go at brushing his teeth himself. She normally did it for him so he felt very important and grown up. When the phone rang Mummy said “Start brushing, I’ll be back in a moment.” The tube looked pretty empty and Oliver SQUEEZED with all his might but no toothpaste appeared.

Oliver is allowed to brush his teeth on his own for the first time, but while Mummy answers the phone, there is one small problem – Oliver can’t get the toothpaste out of the tube! Luckily, his animal friends are there to help and after each boasting they can do the job, they soon realise the only way to succeed is as a team!

  • A wonderful bedtime story about teamwork.
  • Sweet illustrations by a very successful author.
