Simple Picture Books

Whilst at Bologna Book Fair this year, Collaborate was keeping a keen eye on the trends coming through in the world of children’s publishing.

One of the main trends that we spotted (and one of our favourites) was a move towards simple picture books.

These books feature bright, fresh, limited colour palettes, lots of white space and a tendency towards light-hearted story lines.
