When Amanda was young, she thought she could grow up to be a mermaid! Life took her in other directions but these days she keeps her childhood dream alive by drawing them. Amanda studied at the University of Maine before her artistic life found her in California and then Oregon where she now lives with her very loud roommate, Bubbles the Budgie. She still loves the sea and volunteers with a local marine charity. When Amanda is not working or volunteering, you can find her taking long walks on the beach or diving.
