Karolyn is a queer, disabled, chicana illustrator based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. With a love for visual storytelling and color, her whimsical work is inspired by her passion for nature, magic, folk art, and her Mexican-American roots. Karolyn's work aims to be kind, inclusive, and full of wonder. She graduated from the Animation/Illustration program at San Jose State University in 2018. Since then, she has worked as a color designer in TV animation and is starting her journey into the wonderful world of illustration with Collaborate!

In her spare time, she enjoys tarot reading, singing, and reading books outside. She also loves lounging around at home with her spouse and 5 cats.
