Morgan Lei is an illustrator and visual development artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. She loves telling heartfelt and character-driven stories through lighting and design. She has a soft spot for children's media thanks to the picture books she read as a kid. The nostalgia and illustrative styles of her favorite books growing up are reflected in her illustrations and design work today. She completed her BFA in Animation & Illustration from San Jose State University. Since then, she has been working as a concept artist for a Film Independent + LAIKA Fellowship stop-motion short film and as a freelance graphic designer for small businesses.
