Alice Botturi is a comic artist and illustrator based in Italy. She has loved telling stories through drawing since childhood and after graduating in Architecture at Politecnico di Milano, she completed her studies at the International School of Comics. In 2020 she co-founded Spaghetti Publishing, an independent collective focused on self-published comics and illustrated books, operating in Italy and the UK. Until recently, she contributed both as an artist and as part of the collective’s management, working on layout and promotion. As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, she collaborates with Italian and international professionals and institutions to promote their activities and raise awareness on specific topics. At the same time, she develops personal projects as an independent artist, working on comics and illustrated books. She loves cinema and theatre, fields in which she has also started working as an illustrator and which strongly influence her artistic inspiration. Whenever she can, she returns to London, her beloved city, where she previously lived and where she catches up with friends and always finds new inspiration for future projects.
