Bárbara Oettinger (Santiago, 1981) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chile and a Master of Arts from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Currently, she holds a Master of Fine Arts in Integrated Practices degree from Pratt Institute, funded by the Chilean government and CONICYT. As an artist, she has participated in various exhibitions and screenings in cultural centers, galleries and museums in Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, USA, India, Indonesia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Spain, France, Portugal, Korea, and Taiwan.Her illustrations have been featured in publications such as: Ilustración a la Chilena, Ocho Libro Editores, Galería Plop!, The best Latin American illustrations 2011, Rufián Magazine "A MANO ARMADA," finalist in the poster contest of FICValdivia (24).
