Beryl Ho is a Dutch illustrator and writer with a strong background in visual storytelling. A graduate of the Venster Academy for Illustration & Narrative, she combines a thoughtful narrative approach with playful and vibrant illustrations, creating images that resonate emotionally and visually.
Her debut picture book, Wie Wat Worm? (ROSE stories, 2024), highlights her dual talent for words and visuals. Through warmth and humor, she explores themes like connection, transformation, and perspective—inviting readers of all ages to see the world with empathy and curiosity.
Beryl starts each illustration with pencil, then digitally refines it using Procreate and Affinity Designer—always fueled by a good cup of coffee and sometimes a bit of chocolate.
