Giovanna Izzo is an Italian illustrator and comic artist based in Naples, Italy. She studied illustration, comics, and character design at the Scuola Italiana di Comix, where she began shaping her professional path as an illustrator and comic artist. Drawing has always been an essential part of her life, and through her work she constantly seeks innovation while reconnecting with the child she once was—the little girl who always dreamed of doing ‘’cartoons’’.
Her work is strongly influenced by films and animation, which inspire the atmosphere, storytelling, and expressive qualities of her illustrations. Giovanna works primarily in digital, using Procreate and Adobe Photoshop, together with a Huion graphic tablet. She has a deep love for witches and magic/spooky creatures, who often find their way into her illustrations.
