Hi, my name is Giulia Margaria. I grew up in the countryside of northern Italy, and I still live here today. My art is expressive, stylized, and dynamic, with a big focus on atmosphere and mood through lighting and color. I work digitally using Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, and I think what makes my illustrations stand out is the cinematic look I create through light, color, and perspective. I’m deeply passionate about videogames, manga, and anime, and love how powerful stories can change the way you see everything.I’ve been drawing since I was little, but I started taking it seriously at 17, and I learned a lot through three years of illustration classes with a local illustrator, then continued studying on my own. Clients often connect with the expressivity of my characters and the mood in my work, and I think my biggest strength is my art style and my ability to tell a story. I also really value collaboration, so I always ask for feedback at every step of the process. I usually begin with character explorations and studies on paper, then move into digital thumbnails for composition and values before sketching, refining, and rendering. When I was younger, I used to work on Dragon Ball and Pokémon art all the time, and I also loved drawing realistic portraits of my favorite singers. These days, I find inspiration in a lot of different medias, Pinterest, and artbooks from animated movies. Outside of art, I’m very close with my little sister, and we love spending time together, whether that’s going to the movies or shopping. I also love music and used to play the guitar. Recently I picked up resin 3d printing and it's become one of my favorite hobbies. I’d like to be remembered as a kind person who tried their best. I also have an orange
rescue cat named Felix, and he’s basically my son now.
