Laura Avivar

Laura is a wandering resident, from Granada to Florence, from Berlin to Valencia, and now settled in Tokyo. As a child, she was a whirlwind; always on the move! However, over the years she's learned to enjoy tranquility (well, the little that her son allows her). She studied economics but thanks to her visual memory found her calling in graphic design and illustration. Numbers were not her thing. Laura is a lover of reading, particularly drawn to self-awareness and spirituality books. Her always favorite author is Murakami. She enjoys illustrating scenes from daily life, featuring characters finding joy in simple pleasures such as drinking tea or smelling flowers. Additionally, she loves illustrating food and adding faces to everyday objects like ramen bowls to give them a more charming appearance. Introverted yet social, in Japan they say her name means "easy sunshine," which she feels defines her well.
