Kit is a passionate illustrator who strongly believes every story can be improved by the addition of a very large bear. Kit has a traditional storybook sensibility and draws inspiration from the different worlds she grew up with in children's books. She loves fairy tale worlds and winter days, and wants to create art for books that are picked at bedtime until the spines become worn and the pages creased. She keeps her drawing skills sharpened with evening classes and local craft clubs, loves to visit art galleries, and uses a peg board to collect colour samples for inspiration for upcoming illustrations.
