Lenka Knoetze is a Slovak illustrator based in South Africa who creates playful, textured children’s illustrations for ages 4–12, featuring hand-drawn details, bright limited palettes, decorative elements and curious compositions that invite exploration. Her creative path — from early doodling and arts school through theology studies and Christian mission work — shapes the heart of her storytelling, which spans multicultural experiences and meaningful narratives; since 2021 she has worked part-time on design and illustration for sign language education alongside deaf colleagues. Inspired by animals, nature, environmental care, diverse cultures, true and historical stories, and humor, Lenka illustrates primarily in Procreate and designs in Adobe CC, collaborating closely with authors and editors to create beautiful, fun and meaningful stories that bring people together.
