I’ve been working professionally as an illustrator since 2010. I first studied Literature at the University of São Paulo (USP), then graduated in Graphic Design from Escola Panamericana de Arte, and I continue to expand my practice through courses and weekly oil painting classes. My clients include Pearson, Arco, FTD, Abril, Moderna, Veja, Bimbo, Hyundai, Itaú, HarperCollins, Scholastic, and Hand2Mind. My first major project, a comic-strip series based on classic Brazilian literature, is still regularly licensed for educational materials and university entrance exams. I’m known for being organized, reliable, and clear in communication, with a process built on research, references, sketching, and close client dialogue.As a kid, I watched The Lion King on repeat, pausing my favorite scenes to draw the characters on scraps of paper. At school, classmates would ask me to fill the blackboard with big lions, and I was always ready for art projects and exhibitions. These days, I still find inspiration in video games, films, and books, and when I need to reset, I go to the beach and reconnect with nature. My day starts with coffee, usually includes some kind of physical activity like cycling, and is made better by the company of my pets. I want my work to carry something recognizably human, even in imaginary worlds.
