Meet Flora, Collaborate’s US Artist Agent
- What is your title at Collaborate, and how would you describe your role?
I’m an Artist Agent at Collaborate in the US. My role includes client and talent outreach, helping out with project management and production artwork, as well as coordinating with our team in order to help clients achieve their creative vision.
- Where are you located?
I’m based in sunny downtown Los Angeles!
- What skills are essential to your role at Collaborate?
Organization is crucial in order to coordinate between all of our projects, as well as communication to sync between our internal team, suppliers, and clients in order to successfully produce high quality products.
- What is your background in art/design?
My art background includes work as a Visual Development Artist and Art Director in entertainment for clients such as Warner Bros. Animation, Osmo, and US Bank. I’ve worked on projects across animation, R&D, live action, marketing, and publishing, meeting many talented people along the way! I graduated with my BFA in Animation/Illustration from SJSU and directed my thesis award-winning 2D animated film Malinchista with an amazing team of 50 artists.
- How Collaborative is your role?
100%. On a daily basis I’m collaborating with my coworkers, our clients, suppliers, artists, and new contacts. In both publishing and animation, collaboration is an absolute must in order to bring any project to life.
