In the Timekeepers series, the challenge lay in supporting complex historical settings while sustaining reader engagement. We created layouts that balanced detailed content with readability, planning carefully so Esther Hernando’s illustrations enhanced rather than overwhelmed the text. Spreads were designed to help readers navigate time shifts and historical scenes confidently, with consistent cues built into the page design to anchor them in the story. Every spread became both an adventure and a learning opportunity, presented in a way that was visually rich yet always accessible.
