Teaching English Through Play

Pippa and Pop are a pair of mice that live in a bookstore, who invite young learners into their colourful miniature world where they can explore songs, stories, guided activities, and games to develop and improve core English skills. We collaborated with Cambridge University Press on this large-scale project, spanning three levels of a pre-school English course. We designed the cute, friendly characters of Pippa and Pop which we developed through illustration and animation to generate puppets for use throughout the course. These lovable characters were essential to engaging young learners in a ‘learning through play’ framework.
