Samantha Dolecki (she/hers) is a digital illustrator based in Paris, France. Her love for classic storytelling, fostered by fairytales of knights, mermaids, and creepy creatures, has been a driving force since her early years. Initially trained in 2d animation, shelater earned her BFA in Illustration, with a focus on visual development, from the School of Visual Arts in 2023.Samantha is passionate about children's book illustration, aiming to infuse her work with the magic she felt as a child reading and watching her favourite stories. From growing up in England to living across the United States, Samantha pulls inspiration from all the real-life wonders and unique people she's met. When she's not illustrating or making up stories, you can find her hiking through the woods, hunting for treasures at thrift stores, or drinking too much coffee.
