Ed Myer thinks every picture should reward a second (or even third or fourth) look, so he packs his art with cheeky easter-eggs. He’s happy whether he’s drawing a yard full of muddy machinery, a landscape of ‘roarsome’ dinosaurs, fairytale forests or just an everyday breakfast scene. Ed’s bold style means busy pages can still be read clearly, so he loves illustrating search-and-find pages, as well as activity books, and non-fiction subjects that need to be more fun than they sound. Everything in Ed’s world is bright and colourful, echoing the Disney films he grew up with – still his top picks for a cosy movie night in!
