Eva often daydreams that she really lives in a town filled with friendly monsters, perhaps with a café run by a giant octopus, an underwater library and a three-headed mayor. Eva’s humour comes from the unexpected, as well as the contrast of scale and personality in her characters, which is why her art lends itself to animation just as well as book illustration. Her style is weird, wonderful and very useful for making educational content that students will forget is educational.
