Hi, I’m Rishabh Goswami, a digital illustrator based in Jaipur, where I also grew up in India’s Pink City. Coming from an Indian Hindu family, I’ve been deeply shaped by spirituality, psychology, meditation, and a lasting curiosity about the mind and consciousness. My work moves between cartoony and semi-real styles, mostly for children’s books, visual development, comics, and design projects, often carrying touches of fantasy, emotion, and inner worlds.I’ve been working professionally for about 10 years, from animation studios to freelance illustration, after completing a three-year course in Animation and Multimedia in Jaipur and continuing to learn through self-study. I’ve worked with publishers including Scholastic, Penguin Random House India, Pratham Books, Sweet Cherry Publishing, and Champak, and earlier contributed to shows like Motu Patlu, Rudra, Shiva, and Gadget Guru Ganesha. One project I’m especially proud of is Playthings by Neil D’Silva, where I created the cover and illustrations on a very tight deadline. My process is rooted in strong reference gathering, rough exploration, clear line work, and steady client communication from start to finish.I grew up around art, music, classic cartoons, comics, street cricket, early computer games, and my own goofy experiments with drawing and animation, so creativity always felt close to daily life. I’m still inspired by travel, urban sketching, books on philosophy and psychology, meditation, yoga, and films from Studio Ghibli, Pixar, and Disney. Some of my more personal work draws from memories, dreams, loss, and my childhood dog Rocky, and when a piece really clicks, I hope it feels quiet, reflective, and emotionally honest.
