Scott Brothers has brought his unique brand of visual storytelling to kid’s edutainment, licensed video games and education programs and platforms. Throughout his career Scott has held a variety of roles including character designer, illustrator, animator, writer, and art director. His work and contributions can be seen across PC games such as
Spy Fox,
Freddi Fish and
Putt-Putt, movie tie-in platform games like
Pirates of the Caribbean and
Princess and the Frog and blockbuster franchises such as
Assassin’s Creed and
Crash Bandicoot.
Scott has worked with established IP from Disney to Marvel Studios to DC Comics and understands the importance of maintaining brand integrity. In addition, Scott has experience creating concept and development art for original IP, pitching new projects and establishing art production workflows.
In the last few years, Scott has been creating art and design in the EdTech space, helping produce digital products that engage and illuminate. From illustrations to animations to UX and icons for various platforms and products, Scott’s designs can be seen across top tier education company, McGraw Hill. In addition, Scott was the Visual Interactive Design Manager on McGraw Hill’s wildly popular ALEKS Adventure, a richly visual math program for students in kindergarten through grade 3.
Scott’s personal art is influenced by mid-century design, comic books, surrealism, Mad magazine, pop art, film noir and experimental music. His quirky, funny and engaging art style is always forward looking even when making nods to the past. Scott’s art has been included in gallery shows and comic cons.
