Kansas City Streetcar Project
AFM Creative
The Kansas City Streetcar project (KCSCP) is a gallery event celebrating the city’s history of the streetcar and its arrival. Everyday the world publishes endless amounts of information and data. The KCSCP focuses on acquiring information found on newspapers, press releases, books and on the internet and transforming it into an infographic and typographic art work.
The intention behind this process is to convert words found on everyday readings into aesthetically appealing visuals. Alfred Morro, a British citizen from Gibraltar has developed on the project for past two years. His aim of the campaign is to educate, entertain and create a positive message of the benefits the streetcar will bring to Kansas City through the expression of information graphic design, typography, branding and animation.
